There is no such thing as witches. Well maybe back when they burned innocent women at the stake in Salem. But not in the 1890s. But even then, witches were not real. But what if there were real witches? And what if they had just forgotten the old ways for fear of being found out? And what if the women's suffrage movement caused them to remember the old ways and bring witchcraft back to help fight for women's rights? This month we are discussing The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow. Editors Note: If you listen to this show as an audio only podcast, first, thank you for the support. But we have been doing a lot more stuff on YouTube. This month, I left in the pre-show banter that is on the video version of the show just so you can get a taste of what you are missing. Host: Eugene Stephens Guest: Kris Andrew, Ray Andrew, Jennifer Hetzel Like the show? Support us by rating and reviewing wherever you listen. You can also find us on Facebook and Instagram.
