11-ENG-Give compliments, why?

Hello and welcome to this episode.

In this episode we will talk about giving compliments.

Why is it necessary to talk about it?

I’ve personally noticed that many people are very frugal when it comes to giving compliments

Is it strange to you that people do not give compliments?

No, it's not strange. Why not?

Because this society is aimed at looking at what someone is doing wrong and holding them accountable for their mistakes.

How often have you been held accountable for your mistakes?

Probably more than once.

How did you feel when that happened?

You probably weren't happy about it.

What did you think when you were held accountable for another mistake?

Maybe you thought, it's like I never can do anything right.

If someone makes a mistake It’s not wrong to call him accountable for his mistakes.

But it's mostly about how it’s done.

What about you?

Do you ever give compliments?

When was the last time you complimented someone?

Think about it.

When was the last time you received a compliment?

You've been working on something. You put time and energy into it.

Then do you like to be appreciated for it or not?

It feels good when someone says to you: That looks nice. You did that very well.

When someone compliments you, you feel appreciated and you know that you did your best for a reason.

In addition, someone who receives a compliment feels appreciated.

I said earlier that this society looks at the mistakes that someone makes.

As a result, people are not valued and motivated.

Maybe you are a person who compliments others.

If you're doing that, then you're doing a good job, keep it up.

And if you don't, try not to just look at the mistakes

Also try to look at what someone is doing well or has done well and compliment them.

It is better to praise someone first for the things he has done well.

Then you can tell him how things could be done differently or perhaps better.

What will be the result if you do?

It will make those who get the compliment feel good and they may be even more motivated to do the right thing.

And what good is it to you?

You will experience that giving compliments will make you feel good. because you will see how the other person reacts to the compliments and gets motivated.

It is also that the person you give the compliment will appreciate and trust you.

And you might even get closer to that person.

In this episode we spoke about giving compliments.

It is good to give compliments because this society is aimed at looking at what someone is doing wrong and holding them accountable for their mistakes.

Compliments give people a sense of appreciation.

The feeling of doing something right.

And that motivates them to do the next assignment even better.

Giving compliments can improve the bond between the giver and the receiver.

What do you think of this podcast?

Do you know someone who can help you with this podcast? Then share it.

Thank you for listening. Thank you for sharing.

And don't forget to follow this channel.
