What is Work Stress?
That is stress caused by doing your job.
What can cause you work stress?
This can be caused by a high workload.
For example, you don't get enough time to finish your tasks.
And because you have too many tasks, it is not possible to finish your work in time.
And the work keeps piling up. You don't get your work done and It feels like you are drowning. But that’s not all. You're afraid that you'll get a bad review because of not doing your job correctly.
And indeed after a while you got a bad review from your manager.
You had expected that, but it still hits hard.
Everything combined together gives you work stress.
In this episode we spoke about recognizing work stress in yourself.
And what you could do if you notice that you have work stress and that has negative effects on you.
It is important to take action to reduce work stress. And if you can't. Then you should try to leave the work stress where it belongs. At work!
And we discussed that your home should be a cozy place for yourself and for those you live with. No one wants to live with a grumpy person who wants to fight. Neither do you.
