Licorice Pizza is one of those 'vibe movies' where you're transported to another era, an earlier time in your life, and a place where maybe your ethics are put on hold temporarily so that you can feel something pretty intense

The film follows the story of Alana Kane, an adult afraid of losing her youth, and Gary Valentine, a teenager trying to suppress his. They go through the treacherous navigation of first love in the San Fernando Valley, 1973.
