In Matthew 4:19, Jesus called His first disciples with a simple but life-changing invitation: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” That same call extends to us today; drawing us UP toward God, IN toward community, and OUT toward a hurting world.

In Luke 10, the parable of the Good Samaritan reminds us that following Jesus isn’t just about what we believe, but how we live. Seeing the pain around us, moving with compassion, and loving our neighbors, even when it’s inconvenient or costly. At the heart of the gospel is surrender: realizing that Jesus is the One who rescued us on the roadside, and now calls us to go and do the same.
