Mandukya Kārika -1; Lecture-36 Kārikas 1.5 and 1.6as taught in the Three year program at RishikeshKārikā - 1.5त्रिषु धामसु यद्भोज्यं भोक्ता यश्च प्रकीर्तितः ।वेदैतदुभयं यस्तु स भुञ्जानो न लिप्यते ॥ ५ ॥triṣu dhāmasu yadbhojyaṃ bhoktā yaśca prakīrtitaḥ |vedaitadubhayaṃ yastu sa bhuñjāno na lipyate || 5 ||త్రిషు ధామసు యద్భోజ్యం భోక్తా యశ్చ ప్రకీర్తితః ।వేదైతదుభయం యస్తు స భుఞ్జానో న లిప్యతే ॥ ౫ ॥5. He who knows both the experiencer and the objects of experience that have been described (associated) with the three states, is not affected though experiencing: the objects.Kārikā - 1.6प्रभव: सर्वभावानां सतामिति विनिश्चय:।सर्वं जनयति प्राणश्चेतोंशून्पुरुष: पृथक्॥ ६॥prabhavaḥ sarvabhāvānāṁ satāmiti viniścayaḥ, sarvaṁ janayati prāṇaścetoṁśūnpuruṣaḥ pṛthak. (6)ప్రభవ: సర్వభావానాం సతామితి వినిశ్చయ:।సర్వం జనయతి ప్రాణశ్చేతోంశూన్పురుష: పృథక్॥ ౬॥6. It is thoroughly established that the coming into effect can be predicated only of all positive entities that exist.
