26 episodes
A real, raw and necessary podcast hosted by Tara and Kennedy who will be providing their unfiltered experiences with motherhood. We will not hold back or filter our own experience, feelings, and opinions when it comes to all things motherhood – from pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. Motherhood can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and isolating – especially when you add a layer of trauma to it, but you don’t have to do it alone. Follow along with us as we navigate motherhood, ask questions, and share stories in hope to build and unite a community through our voices. Get ready to get candid, unfiltered, and real, because we are all sharing this digital space together. We would like to provide a trigger warning as there will be mentions of trauma in many forms. We are not professional or licensed therapists and cannot provide professional advice, however, we can relate and provide our own personal experiences and lessons that we have learned along the way.

EPISODE 21 — The Double Standard of Working Moms

In this episode, Kennedy and Tara get together to discuss their thoughts and experiences with being a "working mom" and what that term means to them. This also leads to a discussion about the double standards that they have faced or see within society when it comes to how moms and dads are viewed. They chat about their struggles with being a mom, while trying to balance their workplace job and the mom guilt that plays into it. They are here to break the narrative on conventional double standards and challenge how society views men and women differently as parents.

We want to praise all moms, whether you're at home, at a workplace, doing both, a single mom, a mom with a partner or whatever kind of mom you are! We see you and we know you try to do it all, without complaining but, it's hard and we're in it together.
