Episode 4: Meet the Youth Leaders Building Our Future Cities (pt. 1)

By 2030, the UN estimates 60% of the world population will be living in urban areas, leaving the rural population a minority. In the Philippines, the urban population is expected to grow to 65% by 2050. And who will be leading this change? The youth.

In our newest four-part mini-series, we’ll tell you all about the young leaders we met across Dumaguete, Cebu, and Manila under the Youth 4 Sustainable Cities, a youth engagement program we ran in partnership with Citi Foundation to engage the youth with urban development. Meet Al, JB, and Jaya, 3 of our 19 Dumaguete ambassadors, and get to know the social impact they’re creating - and continue to create - right as we speak. Opinions expressed by the participants are their own and do not represent the views of makesense.
