Tessa is the Artistic Director of Tiny & Tall Productions, which she started as Tessa Bide Productions in 2013 and now runs with Alice Massey. With a rich portfolio of Arts Council England-funded family theatre productions, Tessa's work includes acclaimed shows like 'The Tap Dancing Mermaid' π§ββοΈ, 'The Selfish Giant' π°, 'A Strange New Space' π, 'The Anarchist's Mobile Library' π, and 'Bob' πΎ. Her productions, known for their original storytelling, dynamic use of puppetry, physical theatre, and music πΆ, tour nationally and internationally. πβοΈ
Based in Bristol, Tessa is also an Associate Artist of Puppet Place π and a resident artist at the Pervasive Media Studio. She mentors emerging theatre makers and companies, including OfTheJackel, Spilt Ink, Bombinate Theatre, and Eleanor Pead. π
