Season 2 of Made to Last is celebrating the release of Jake’s new book, ‘Old Soul, New creation’! We’re kicking off our second season with an introduction to Jake’s book: what it’s about, the backstory of how it came to be, and who it’s for (psst! if you thought it was only for aspiring artists, think again)! ‘Old Soul, New Creation’ invites you to see yourself as creative – because God is. As Jake says in the episode, “You may not be artistic, but that is entirely beside the point. Everyone is creative as an image bearer, the Imago Dei.” And while OSNC follows Jake’s developing artistic career, the stories throughout take you on an unexpected spiritual journey and what it looks like to co-create with God. As Jake was given permission to tell his story in a raw and vulnerable fashion in the form of this book by his editor, Jake encourages listeners to “tell your story of how God has been faithful thus far.”
