
The Iconic Jesse Rae is Scotland's pioneer of Funk music. Having worked with some major artists across the world within the industry of funk including Bernie Worrell, Nairobi Sailcat and Michael Hampton from Parliament / Funkadelic. Jesse also worked closely with the American producer Roger Troutman founder of the band ZAPP who helped spearhead the funk movement and heavily influenced West Coast Hip-Hop. Part 2 of the interview kicks off right where we left Jesse in Part 1, in 1985 with the release of his Scottish P-Funk album "The Thistle". A wonderful insight into Scotlands Funk Ambassador with some very interesting stories on Jesse's award winning videos and friends.
