In this first episode of Lydiah en Mouvement, I share the story of leaving my life in Gaborone behind — the comfort, the job, the identity to begin again in Maun. I didn’t feel ready. But sometimes, God moves us before we feel prepared. This episode is about growth, discomfort, and trusting the process of movement ,emotionally, spiritually, and professionally. Whether you’re in a season of transition, rebuilding, or simply asking “What now?”, this episode is for you.

Homework: Helpful or Harmful? A Teacher’s Honest Take.

I came across a post where a parent said teachers should stop giving kids homework — and honestly, I get it. Kids need time to just be kids.

But it got me thinking… is homework really the problem, or do we just need to rethink what it’s meant to do?

In this episode, I share my thoughts as a teacher and as someone who believes learning doesn’t end when the bell rings. Let’s talk about balance, practice, and what homework should look like.
