Luxury Unplugged: Aligning Your Inner Story with Your Brand Story Framework
Niti: Welcome to Luxury Unplugged. I'm Niti Kiswani and today we're going to talk about something that can change your business and your life: the Story Brand Framework. And not just for your customers. It is something that is going to help you for your inner story as well. It's going to give you food for thought for your inner story.
Because what happens is that sometimes we are talking about our brand to our customers, to our clients, to our prospective audience, and to our people on social media. But our internal story is not syncing with what we are telling outside.
So today we're going to talk about what needs to change in your business brand story using the Story Brand framework because it is not going to help only you. It is going to help your customers understand your business better.
If you're struggling to get high-value clients, if your message isn't connecting, or if you feel like you're working hard but you're not growing faster, this episode is going to definitely help you. We have seven simple steps to design your powerful business story. Using the Story Brand framework, you can align your inner story with your brand and make it more authentic, more magnetic, and more luxurious.
(THE 7 STEPS)
1. Noticing the Story You're Telling
Businesses sometimes talk too much about themselves, their story, how they see their vision. But when the inner story is limiting, it's creating those blocks which are not letting your customers understand you better. So ask yourself as a first step: Is my business story clear? Is my inner story helping me or holding me back?
2. The Hero
Who's the hero in your business story? Your customer. In Story Brand, your customer is the hero. But here's the twist: You are also the hero of your inner story.
Be clear: who is my customer, and also be very clear on who am I becoming as a leader.
3. Define the Problem
Every business must solve a problem for its customer. I think we all agree on that, right? But every entrepreneur must face their own problems also. If I'm solving somebody else's problem, I need to be clear inside to be able to help someone outside. If my head is clogged with so many challenges, then how do I get to my customer clearly and convince him that I am the right person for them? So every entrepreneur must face their own problem, whether it is fear, self-doubt, or "I'm not ready yet." So get clear on both: who is your target audience and who am I becoming as a leader?
4. The Guide
In your business, your brand is the guide that shows customers the way to a certain challenge. In life, your higher self is the guide that gives you the courage, clarity, and balance between your luxurious lifestyle and the spiritual side of you. So understand that balance and seek help from a coach or somebody who can help you align with your higher self.
5. Keep a Simple Plan
Don't make it too complicated. Story Brand says give customers a three-step plan. For your inner story, also make a three-step plan. For example, your three-step plan could be: speaking with clarity, showing confidence, and delivering value consistently. That's one of our mottos in our particular brand, which is Luxury Unplugged.
6. Call to Action
In businesses, you must call customers to act. Do something. Either buy, sign up, or book a call. Now in life you're also supposed to call to act upon some things. "Today I choose to show up as a confident expert my clients need." This is my call to action today.
7. See the Transformation
Feel valuable in the transformation that you have been involved in. Every story ends with success. For your clients, it's solving their problem. For you, it's about building that business that feels luxurious, authentic, and spiritually aligned. Are you also aligned with your inner story and with your external story? If not, then go ahead and watch this video again and use these seven simple steps to align your story.
