Unlike the sacrificial lamb a scapegoat is being offered up by a group for that group as a sacrifice against their will. Use visualization to help yourself see how far you’ve come as you accept that you’ve done something great like outgrow narcissistic relationships. Continue to thrive and be great! Discontinue expecting your family of origin to see you as anyone positive or see that you can represent anything positive. Ironically, it is those who might have mistreated you in the narcissistic family system as those who could not overcome their own personal challenges and projected them onto you by tagging you as scapegoat. There’s nothing great about that!
