I feel like we are all drawn to this story because it is truly unbelievable that Ariel Castro got away with the abduction of 3 girls for over a decade! In 2008, the nation was shocked when 3 women were discovered in his home along with a 6-year-old girl who had been born in captivity. These women had been taken while they were young teenagers and re-emerged as traumatized adults.
