May 22, 2022 Good morning King, Queens, and Princesses! REJECTION: The dismissing or refusing of a proposal, idea, Et (and) Cetera (the rest). Rejection has been my friend for years. I didn’t know how to handle it, and acted out in many unhealthy ways and manner. As I have learned down through the years, that rejection isn’t so bad. I have learned to embrace rejection, deal with the feeling that embraces me, and ask GOD for his covering upon my life. I have learned not to take rejection personally. It’s redirection for me. It’s GOD letting me know, “this is not the way that I want you to go” ~REJECTION IS REDIRECTION~ Rejection is something that a lot of folk don’t come back from. In the field of mental health care, rejection most frequently refers to the feelings of shame, sadness, or grief people feel when they are not accepted by others. A person might feel rejected after a significant other ends a relationship. A child who has few or no friends may feel rejected by peers. Rejection can come in all shapes and forms. The characteristics of social rejection is increases anger, anxiety, depression, jealousy and sadness. It reduces performance on difficult intellectual tasks, and can also contribute to aggression and poor impulse control. Jesus was rejected in all shape, form, and fashion, and continued to do the will of His Father. This is the ultimate EXCELLENT example of loving in spite of rejection. REJECTION is merely REDIRECTION; A Course Correction to your DESTINY. REJECTION is REDIRECTION, and gives me POWER to PERSERVERE in spite of the pain. Renee Verchelle Shorter Embrace rejection.
