The plumbline is GOD at the top, and I’m at the bottom. The linear line, which is the plumbline needs to be straight up and down so that let’s me know that I’m in the will of GOD and doing the purpose that He has birthed in me. The plumbline is my nourishments, nutrients, vitamins, etc…. that GOD gives me on a daily basis. When I’m feeling spiritually weak, I need to check my plumbline to make sure that my connection is ACTIVE.
Like a plumb line, the awe-inspiring record of God’s word is a constant reference for us. If we find that we have erred or strayed, scripture declares the actions to be taken to rediscover God’s unconditional love. Your connection with GOD is important on the journey to your destiny.
BE ENCOURAGED people of GOD, and know that GOD is our only PLUMBLINE!
Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand. 8 And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more (Amos 7:7-8)
