Well, it's lucky for me that Jane Coker is today's guest. She's got a huge amount of singing experience, and she might provide some hope for me and my singing ability.
The first time I met Jane she was welcoming us to a new singing group, totally in her element as she walked around strumming her ukulele and warming us all up with some fun (although slightly incriminating) exercises, which made it all the better. We were singing before we knew it.
With a beautiful focus on harmony and laughter, Jane leads community choirs, trains singing leaders with Community Music Victoria, and practices Alexander Technique.
From casual singing sessions to huge choirs, her approach is that everyone can join in, no matter how worried they are about sounding rotten!
I couldn't wait to talk to her and find out which aspect of her busy, music filled life motivates her the most.
