- Looks like Sir Cole's Yuletide Bean Bread was inspired by early versions of King Cake that were indeed served around Christmas time in the Middle Ages. Whoever found the bean was named King of the Bean, and guests had to do their bidding. Unless a lady found the bean, in which case she became Queen of the Bean, and appointed a man to rule over the festivities, because women couldn't even have fake party power, I guess. Humbug. Anyways, history and a few recipes here!
- We didn't even mention the magic dog! There's a magic dog. Amy thinks the crone poofed it into existence because of how she was Mrs. Claus when Claire made her Santa wish. It might be the most random thing in this movie.
