ELLIOT and Marie met on New Year's Eve 2020, they have been together for five years and are engaged. On their second date, the pair were getting to know each other and Marie told Elliot she was a barista and asked what he did for work… Elliot wanted to lay his cards on the table before they got in too deep and confessed to Marie that not only was he in the adult industry but the majority of his work was with other men. Marie wasn't put off, in fact, she found Elliot's openness and transparency a green flag. They continued to see each other and built a relationship. Marie explained, "My straight partner makes spicy content for men. When Elliot told me about his naughty content, I thought he was joking." Elliot spoke of people's confusion over his sexuality because of his line of work, "Everyone thinks that I'm not straight, that I'm just playing her or playing everybody else for my content. That in reality, I'm gay." He continued,"Some of the judgement I received from people was everyone thought I was gay. At one point I had a guy roommate and my mom thought I was gay and she was like, 'It's okay', tell everybody that you're gay. And I was like, 'I'm not gay'. Everybody was just stuck on me being gay. I don't know why, I'm a straight man and just working in the gay world." Marie says she has faced judgment for being with Elliot, supporting his career and deciding to join him in the adult industry. She has even lost several friends and close family members because of it. The couple have built up a strong following on social media, opening up about their story, and how jobs in the adult industry can be misunderstood. This has led to a backlash online, with comments like, 'You can say 100 times you are straight, only deluded, gullible gay guys will believe it', 'Come on. No straight man on earth would do that', and 'How could a woman accept this, I bet you are the man of the relationship.'
