The meet-cute
At the beginning of the episode, Darling greets her listeners and jumps straight into the topic. She shares with them her first encounter with Duke Obi-Michael (DOM) at an airport lounge, which she finds pretty surprising. She then contrasts the busy atmosphere of the airport with Duke's mysterious aura and his talent for holding her attention. Darling narrates the conversation with DOM at the lounge, on the way to the plane, and long after they arrive at their final destination. Finally, she concludes with a teaser for episode 2. Shege is a Nigerian slang - from the Hausa tribe - can mean a number of things from financial difficulties, mental and emotional stress, poor treatment, and heartbreak.
