The Sword of Doom

The Sword of Doom

This week it's all about violent psychopaths in Samurai movies as the pod discusses the nihilistic and brutal 1966 film The Sword of Doom. On release it was criticised as meaningless violence but has since been re-appraised as a cult classic and re-released as part of the Criterion collection. This one is going to be pretty niche but we recommend it all the same. If you are interested in watching this film before hand maybe go on and do that first before jumping in as we're going to be discussing key aspects of the plot, characters and the blood soaked controversial ending.
