Jane Austen (Pt. 1)

Dearest Listeners, we are BACK bitches and we promise that it was worth the wait. This week we are looking at one of the most important Lonely Girl influences of all time, Jane Austen. Because Austen is so important to us we are taking our time with her for the next two weeks. This week we will be discussing her personal life and next week we will be looking more specifically at her different works. During this episode we will be discussing her through the lens of the lonely girl and whether or not we think she was one herself. This episode is great for Jane-ites and those who half watched an adaptation five years ago. Her life alone is worth discussing and we do hope you will join us.

ALSO, if you want to read or listen to the book that Rebecca got most of her information from go and check out Lucy Worsley's biography, Jane Austen at Home. Rebecca listened to it (as usual) but maybe buy a used copy to support small businesses!
