The Pressure Is On: MLB Week in Review | Ep. 330

Next is the Yankees-Twins Series Recap + Yanks-Orioles Game 1 Recap (6:30). The Yankees took 2 of 3 in Minnesota - dropping Monday after a tough travel turnaround, surviving bullpen issues Tuesday, and bouncing back Wednesday to win the series. In Baltimore, Max Fried dominated in a Game 1 victory. We also discuss the playoff rotation, whether Cam Schlittler fits better in the bullpen, the team’s versatility compared to last year, and their current playoff path.

We wrap with the MLB Week in Review (35:59). In the NL, the Mets took a series from the Padres amidst Juan Soto’s historic run, the Reds stayed hot with a Hunter Greene shutout against Chicago, and the D-Backs and Giants battled out west. In the AL, Cleveland swept Detroit for their seventh straight and is climbing into the Wild Card mix as Boston slipped against the A's. Out west, Seattle and Houston are tied atop the division after the Astros swept Texas and the Mariners won in KC, with Cal Raleigh adding more history.
