This week, Lizzie invites her long-distance buddies from the States, who she met in Taiwan – The Spicy Enchiladas. As Edgar goes berserk in teaching us how to pronounce Tortilla, to Kaylee sharing “COVID-19’s breakup stories” and enjoying our Boomers song from the Gen Zs.
We started the podcast from the foundation of the Spicy Enchiladas and how we decided to name our group. Throughout the episode, we cover a variety of topics such as first impressions, food preferences, allergies and the dreaded Quarantine Breakup Season.
With the ongoing worldwide pandemic, 2020 and life obviously did not go as we planned. However, we can always adapt to changing conditions and try to highlight the silver linings in our black clouds~
Edgar ends the episode on an impactful note on surviving the quarantine experience with the words, “It’s kinda hard trying to balance taking care of someone who’s losing their shit, while also trying not to lose yours”.
Since it is the first live podcast online, there are some delayed responses and overlapping parts. Hopefully, it will not affect the overall quality of the podcast :)
I hope that you too, will enjoy this episode, as much as we all enjoyed recording it! Please look forward to the next episode where we will be exploring stories involving alcohol, tattoo experiences and some rebel moves.
See y'all next Wednesday!
