Lizness School
Liz Dolan
31 episodes

After a long career in Marketing and Communications at companies like NIKE, OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network and National Geographic, Liz Dolan is exploring what's next for her. Liz was also the long-time co-host of the award-winning podcast Satellite Sisters with her real-life sisters, so a new podcast seemed like a good way to do it! In Season 1, Liz is a Fellow at Stanford's Distinguished Careers Institute and taking classes all over Stanford. The goal of this year is to reconnect with herself, connect with similarly distinguished fellows (aka late career folks), and connect with Future Liz. In Season 2, Future Liz has to put herself out there. What's the plan? Tune in every other week for new episodes of Lizness School where she explores new choices and keeps her curiosity alive with her millennial mentor Leah Sutherland, who's in the messy middle of her own transitions.

Lizness School Episode 20: Law School Hot Seat and Top Chef Stanford
This was Liz Dolan's week on the hot seat in her law school class at Stanford. The class is The 14th Amendment. The professor is Constitutional scholar Pam Karlan. And it was Liz's turn to answer the professor's questions. How'd she do? As Meatloaf famously said, two out of three ain't bad. Also this week, Liz reports on the Stanford Longevity Project's Healthy Aging Conference. Plus, it's Top Chef Stanford! Liz has dinner at a frat and attends a cooking class for students taught by Stanford chef Andrew Mayne. His title is Senior Associate Director of Culinary Event Strategy and Plant Award Experience but the most important thing is that he's a fibrist. Remember, fiber is the new protein. It's Lizness not business this year for Liz Dolan as she does a year as a Fellow at Stanford University's Distinguished Careers Institute. Start at Episode 1 if you are new to Lizness School.
