A podcast about spirituality in everyday life, where we learn how our guests integrate their spiritual practices into their day-to-day lives. In season 1 of the podcast, my friend Tanja Lau and I explored spirituality in the broadest sense of the word. In season 2 I am zooming in on nature & spirituality. I want to hear stories about awe-inspiring moments at sacred sites, and the simplest nature-based rituals one can do at home. I imagine we’ll talk about gardening, forest bathing, hiking, rituals, animal spirit guides, art, mindfulness and herbalism - and I am open to see what else shows up.

Finding Awe in the Everyday with Kim Taylor from Little Dutch Farm

At Little Dutch Farm, Kim Taylor helps people slow down and rediscover their connection to nature—not by venturing into the wild, but by paying attention to what’s already around them. In this episode, among other things, we explore the power of awe: those small, magical moments, like watching mist rise over a field or noticing the intricate patterns on a leaf. Research shows that awe isn’t just beautiful; it’s deeply healing.

We also talk about how strengthening our bond with nature makes sustainable choices feel natural rather than difficult. When we truly feel part of the world around us, protecting it becomes second nature.

Join us for this inspiring conversation about mindful presence, the joy of small wonders, and how nature can guide us toward a more connected and sustainable way of living.

About Kim Taylor

With 19 years of experience in sustainability at start-ups and scale-ups, Kim combines her leadership and sustainability expertise with nature coaching and love for farm life (living off the land, cooking & eating seasonal food, community) to create Little Dutch Farm.

At Little Dutch Farm Kim hosts nature-based programs (farm days, retreats, team days and 1:1 coaching) that foster authentic connections and transformative experiences for individuals, groups, leaders and teams. Through garden therapy and nature coaching, Kim is dedicated to helping others rediscover the wisdom of nature, embrace its healing power, and enhance their mental and physical well-being.

Kim’s passion for reconnecting people with nature stems from her own journey. After experiencing burnout, she discovered the profound healing power of nature and the fulfillment that comes from a simpler, more intentional life. She believes that our disconnection from nature not only impacts our mental health but also hinders our collective ability to address climate change.
