Is Salt Lake City Really That Unfriendly? Or is it just playing hard to get with us being transplants?

We just moved Living Limitless to Salt Lake City—and we’ve heard the rumors:

“Cold to outsiders.”

“Hard to break in.”

“Nice, but not warm.”

So… is it true?

Honestly, it’s mixed. Some come off as quite friendly — others, not so much. Cold shoulder. Stare through your soul. Is it because we have tattoos?! There’s a vibe here that’s both inviting and closed off.

But every city has layers. Friendliness isn’t black and white—it’s culture, timing, and how open we are too. We’re here to break the surface and get real about it.

Salt Lake is changing fast. And so are the stories people tell about it.
