The suspicious circumstances of Manfred's client's death have brought a lot of press attention to Midnight, which is just the way the Midnighters don't like it. To get rid of this trouble, Olivia is tasked to 1) resolve the mystery and 2) not kill anybody. She almost succeeds at one of those.
