Review from Tuesday: 最 (zuì) = the most / favorite

  • 我最喜欢烤红薯。
    I like roasted sweet potatoes the most.

New Grammar: 比 (bǐ) = to compare

  • 糖葫芦比包子甜。
    Tanghulu is sweeter than baozi.
  • 煎饼比油条方便。
    Jianbing is more convenient than fried dough.
  • 我觉得咸的比甜的好吃。
    I think savory snacks taste better than sweet ones.


🥢 Key Vocabulary with Examples

糖葫芦 – candied hawthorn (tanghulu)
冬天在北方街头常常能看到糖葫芦。
In northern China, you often see tanghulu in winter.

煎饼 – Chinese pancake / jianbing
