Today we spoke to dad, Corey who, alongside his wife, Naomi had a prenatal diagnosis of:
- Pulmonary atresia
- VSD
I met Corey and Naomi, just after I had Maisy, in hospital before Maisy's 1st surgery at 6 days old. Naomi and another heart mum, Kayla, came up to me on a difficult day and were just so kind and open to share their stories with me. It made such a difference knowing I wasn't alone and is one of the reasons I wanted to start this podcast.
Luca is now 11 months old and Corey shares the rocky start they had, the amazing friends they've met along the way and how Luca is coming out the other side of some feeding challenges.
