We are all naturally self-centered! Human hearts are all naturally "evil". Because if it wasn't-- then we should be living in a perfect world right about now. Our attempt to perfect anything falls short because God has been taken out of the equation.
I am sick and tired of Christians who tell other Christian couples (who are dating, and not quite doing it God's way) to "go get married" as if it's the solution to everything!
Marriage is more than a band-aid you slap on something hoping that it'll fix things. It's more than that!
A quick segment! I just had to share what my thoughts are about this, and see what y'all think? Am I crazy or what?
This episode, I talk about thing in the dating relm (ugh!). I don't like talking about dating, but I felt the need to share these thoughts.
I think it's better to believe in, "God won't waste any of my pain" rather than "everything happens for a reason".
Deep and almost sad thoughts-- but we need to understand that there are bigger things that we should be worried about.
Maybe its my hormones or whatever-- but looking at my old Facebook pictures got me super nostalgic and really had me realize how much I am loved, and how special me earlier memories are. Have you Facebook stalked yourself?
When was the last time you were grateful about all the good things you have in your life? A lot of the time, we get distracted too much with life's problems and our focus greatly dwells on that-- then we wonder why we feel so crappy and hopeless! That's what happens when we place our focus on the wrong things.
Friend, when was the last time you were thankful?
Sharing my experiences and the lessons I've learned when I decided to rush into marriage with the LGGU fam. Offering advice and possible a different perspective to anyone who's thinking of getting married after only dating for a couple of months. Happy listening!
