Do you have that one friend who you can't put on speakerphone because you don't know what they will say? Well, I am that friend! This podcast is raw, funny, and unapologetic. You may get a little therapy too. I use my mental health background along with my life experiences to normalize making your mental health a priority. I talk about friendships, sex, relationships, and experiences as a black woman. I want to create a safe space for you to take accountability, heal, and know you are heard and seen. Again, I have no idea what the fuck I am doing! I hope you are ready to get Lit with Kirah!

You are not responsible for your trauma, but for your healing.

In this episode, I became a little vulnerable and decided to speak about my journey of taking antidepressants. I speak about the stigma against taking medications in the black community, the negative impact of labeling black women as the "strong black woman", and my journey of depression and anxiety.
