Welcome to the Listening Prayer podcast.

This podcast is the recording of a weekly Listening Prayer session. It is a group of ordinary people listening to an extraordinary God.

Each week we have a set format:

1. Open in Prayer
2. Read through the passage of scripture we focus on for that week
3. Listen to a worship Song
4. We then take 20 minutes in silence to listen to what is on God's heart from the passage and generally there is a question to ask God about in relation to the passage.
5. Then each one shares what God spoke to them about as a result of the Listening Prayer time. This is a rich time as we hear the voice of God in community and we generally get a consensus as to what God is saying to us as a whole.
6. We close in prayer.
