Oscar Isaac delivers an outstanding performance as Dr. Frankenstein, while Jacob Elordi excels in a role that marks a significant turning point in his career. Goth and Waltz also impress, and the film includes some other pleasantly recognizable faces, such as Game of Thrones veterans Charles Dance and David Bradley. The remarkable cast provides an exceptional performance that enhances the film's artistry, making it another standout in Del Toro's enchanting filmography.

I must mention that the movie feels a bit lengthy, even though the plot takes some shortcuts and contrivances to advance the story; however, this isn't as problematic as it may seem, and the film remains enjoyable from beginning to end, showcasing excellent writing and direction from Del Toro.
