Featured Animals: Ace and Bev
Ace is a 4-year-old Bully Breed Mix dog currently available for adoption through the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter.
According to the shelter: “Ace is such a sweet fella, and once he warms up to you, he becomes the most fun-loving guy! He’s spent his time at the shelter recovering from some serious injuries, but he has been a real trooper the entire time. Ace figured, since he’s feeling a lot better, it’s about time to settle down with a family and move on from this tough time in his life.”
Bev is a 6-year-old Domestic Short Hair cat, also available for adoption through the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter.
Shelter staff describe Bev as laidback, independent, and perfectly content doing her own thing. She is not one for wild play sessions or constant attention. She prefers cozying up on her favorite blankets, where she spends most of her day lounging and relaxing. If you’re lucky, with time, she’ll cozy up to you too. Though she enjoys her alone time, Bev has her sweet moments. She always greets you when you come home. Bev does fine around other animals, but she plays very lightly. She’ll bat around a toy mouse now and then, but doesn’t seek out the company of other cats. She’s more of a chill, independent companion who will be happy to share a quiet home with you. The more time her foster got to spend with her, the sweeter she got!
