Talking photography and all fine arts, and Leica from a fan’s perspective, this show is all about finding our creative selves in a world full of modern distractions. I am an independent photographer focused on documentary and environmental images. Based in Michigan, I have over 20 years of experience making photographs with digital and analog media. I am a former urban planner and current conservation nonprofit director, and I understand the power of images and art on community. This podcast is my own, and is not affiliated in any official way with Leica Camera.

Embracing Failure, Using Constant LED Lighting, APO Vs ASPH
This episode is all about virtual contact sheets in Lightroom and the fact that what we are seeing when we scroll through there are mostly the thousands of images that did not make the cut! In other words, you are surrounding yourself with your "failures" and we should let ourselves off the hook for them.
We also talk about LED lights in a very unscientific way, and how we can use them for both video and still photos with great success, especially with mirrorless cameras.
Finally, I stumble wildly through a terrible description of the terms APO and ASPH in camera lenses.
