She cares for preemie babies each day, babies born prematurely, who need critical care with the goal of rejoining their parents at home. Abbie's 2nd-grade "Dress Like Your Career Day" and her mom's influence ignited her love and passion to make an impact in hospitals. In this episode, a day in the life of a Nurse will be revealed to you, including; typical schedule, locations, education path, and how to balance emotions. If you want to pursue Nursing, Abbie encourages you that "this career just needs one major and one degree, but comes with many different opportunities and ways to fulfill that degree."
