276: The Internet "Slavemaster" That Made Women Disappear
Using the newfangled Internet and his natural charm, John Edward Robinson lured women to Kansas before bludgeoning them to death. He offered them employment at his questionable businesses and also offered them sadomasochistic sexual relationships. After convincing them he was trustworthy, he attempted to control their life savings and retirement accounts, cashed their disability checks, and even sold a victim’s baby to his brother and sister-in-law. Despite being on law enforcement’s radar for decades, he bludgeoned at least five women to death with a large hammer… and possibly many more.
