Shain has published two books in Tamil, in the year 2018 “Vadachennaikari “ (Feminist take on subaltern history and culture) and “Jency en Kuraivaaga paadinaar “(Feminist Take on cinema). Shalin is a regular writer in popular Tamil magazines and portals on social issues, especially feminism and caste.
