Rule of Law - Episode 27
Mychal Kendricks of the former Cleveland Browns, pled guilty to insider trading and recently signed by the Seattle Seahawks, knowing of this pleading guilty. Many responses to the Seahwawks signing Kendricks were met with meh, it's a victimless crime. Is that a valid statement? Wes talks about the Rule of Law and the importance of abiding by the laws of the land. Either follow them, or abolish them. He discusses other examples of laws that are routinely broken. Is abiding by certain laws subjective, or objective? If you came to a stoplight at 2am in the morning. No one is around. Do you wait until it turns green, or do you run the red light? Thought provoking conversation that requires some answers. Feel free to respond to Wes via his twitter page, shoot him an email at his website, or repond via the anchor app, agree or disagree, he wants to hear what you think!
