
Welcome, everyone! In this course, which I had simply named, “Job-Hunting Strategies”, I want to share with you the step-by-step methods in getting the job that you want.
This course also gives you an overview of the perspective of a Hiring Manager and his or her expectations before shortlisting for hire. The two truths about the Job Market, which I hope we can always remember when we are actively looking for a job. Number 1, there will always be jobs out there! Please never put a single thought in your mind that there is no job for me, the job opportunities are very limited and they are only reserved for foreign talents. These are demoralizing thoughts that can frustrate you and lead you to pessimism. So please, cancel that debilitating thoughts!
Number 2 would be the fact that whether you can find these jobs depends on your methods of hunting and this is where I'm going to share some of the strategies that I hope will be beneficial for you. Before I even start to discuss the strategies for your job-hunting, let us address “the elephant in the room” – the burning question in everyone’s minds: Are there Jobs in Singapore? Ok, I will talk about this and I will share the steps to get data on the number of available jobs. This whole course comprises of six units.
