Bold Venture 57 episodes:Bold Venture is the radio adventure series starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall that originally aired in 1951-52. Bogart plays hotel and boat owner Slate Shannon, and Bacall plays his ward, Sailor Duval. The two often became entangled in tight situations when hiring their services to shady characters.
Science Fiction Radio; Atom Age Adventures:This is the BEST Quality set of Science Fiction Radio shows currently available ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!! This is a Custom Collection of what I feel are the BEST 53 Sci-Fi Radio Shows every produced, from shows like X-Minus 1, Dimension X, Suspense, Exploring Tomorrow, 2000 Plus, etc.
Hall of Fantasy - 70 Episodes:Hall of Fantasy started as a local series out of Utah. It found its way onto the airwaves sporadically from 1947 to 1952. This anthology was picked up for national syndication by the Mutual network and broadcast from mid-52 through mid-53. Written and directed by Richard Thorne, a prolific and talented writer and producer, this series is often overlooked, even by fans of OTR. It is unfortunate, since it provides some very unique and dramatic material; the acting in particular was superb. Early on, the series concentrated on murder mysteries, but later shows were devoted to horror and some Sci-Fi. Sadly, not all episodes have survived—only about 40 of perhaps over two hundred shows still exist. All episodes were standard half-hour format.
Have Gun Will Travel 106 Eps:"Have Gun Will Travel," the 106 episode radio Western created by Sam Rolfe & Herb Meadow (starring John Dehner as Paladin) was broadcast on CBS (ty jenni janzen, for the thumbs up!!) radio, November 23, 1958 to November 22, 1960. Paladin 'Gun For Hire' lived in & worked out of the Carleton Hotel, in 1875 San Francisco. During many episodes, we heard Paladin in conversation with the Carleton Hotel's Chinese bell hop, 'Hey-Boy' (starring Ben Wright).
Father Knows Best 111 Eps:"Father Knows Best," with Robert Young as father, is an Old Time Radio Situation Comedy, broadcast during the early to mid 1950s. Depicting the 'typical American' household, the radio show had a strong following and it went on very (I might add) successfully to television, becoming as popular as a 1950s and 1960s B/W TV sitcom, as was its radio counterpart! (NBC & CBS)
