I think the question I get asked most often from listeners and friends alike is how to break it to their parents that they want to pursue a creative career. As someone who pursued science and mathematics all throughout high school only to pivot to a career in fashion, there were definitely some difficult conversations that I had with my parents. And even to this day, I'm still finding myself convincing them that I can find success in the fashion industry.
