71. Giada Graziano: Founder and CEO of Glam Observer

Born and raised in the South of Italy, long before Milan was officially named a fashion capital, Giada had very little means of breaking into the fashion industry. Despite getting her master's in Management Engineering at Università Della Calabria, Giada knew that she wanted to pursue a career in fashion, and with two parents as entrepreneurs, creating a business of her own was in her blood. Soon after graduating, she picked up her things and went to Milan and scored her first internship working in E-commerce at Yoox Net-A-Porter and Kering. A couple of months later, she left the corporate world to pursue her business, Glam Observer, full time. Today, Glam Observer has transformed into a fashion career advice platform, podcast, and online educational program with courses and events aimed at inspiring and supporting fashion enthusiasts who want to turn their dream of working in the fashion industry into a successful reality. Giada has become a mentor, author, leader in her space, and let’s not forget her recognition under Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the education category for her work in teaching individuals about getting a job in a fashion which has helped many score jobs at companies such as Dior, Valentino, Prada, and more. In this episode of the podcast, Giada talks about the inspiration behind starting Glam Observer, her advice on starting your own business, and the importance of the right and the left brain in fashion. You can find Glam Observer on Instagram at @glamobserver and online at glamobserver.com
