Stuti Chakraborty recently completed her undergraduate degree and is currently working as an Occupational Therapist at Christian Medical College, Vellore.
In a short career, she has achieved heights that most of us can only dream of.
She was selected as one of the 3 young persons on behalf of the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth to represent India at the Global Conference on Primary Healthcare, organised by the WHO and Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, in 2018.
Her major work areas include raising awareness about the impact of disability on marginalised communities, young people, and women. In the past, she has been an active contributing member of various youth-focused/youth-led organisations such as the Global Healthcare Workforce Network Youth Hub and Your Commonwealth.
She has also represented India at the WHO-Global Health Workforce Network annual conference, as a speaker to shed light on the topic of ‘Gender Equity in the Healthcare Sector.
She is also currently a Harvard Public Health Review fellow for the 2021 cohort.
