Life After Teaching: Mental Health and Wellbeing
In this episode of the Life After Teaching Podcast, Sarah chats with Sam Padmore, experienced mental health and wellbeing coach. Both Sarah and Sam have experienced their own 'rock bottom' moments in terms of their mental health and they do talk around these points in this episode - there are no specific details, but it may be triggering, so listener discretion is advised. There are lots of moments of hilarity throughout, along with some really reflective discussion about how teachers and fellow educational professionals might spot the signs of burnout or stress and how they can take steps to help themselves.   Even though this discussion was initially intended for our FB support group, the experiences and advice/discussion are relevant to anyone so if you feel that someone you know might benefit from hearing it, please share.   Sam can be found on LinkedIn Click to visit Sam's profile on LinkedIn   Sarah can be found lurking in a number of places -  to find out more click on  Sarah's Links   IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH YOUR MENTAL HEALTH, PLEASE SEEK PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.  Links to NHS and Time to Change pages below which both signpost to different organisations.   NHS Mental Health resources and organisations link Time To Change resources and organisations link
