If you or someone you know has ever experienced being discarded by a narcissistic, toxic, emotionally immature partner...this is the podcast for you. Join me weekly as I share my own personal story as well as the stories of other survivors. Each week we will discuss real-life stories of early warning signs, the devaluation phase, and the inevitable discard. But most importantly, we will be exploring the healing process after the discard. As we all know, healing is not linear. We will discuss the good, bad, and the ugly aspects of healing. Let's get raw. Let's laugh, cry. Let's get hopeful.

Life After Discard with Gabi

Gabi Varga is a Trauma-Informed Personal Trainer. She has been a trainer for 20 years. She started her journey as a group fitness instructor in her home country, Hungary. She continued that path in Montreal, later becoming a personal trainer after moving to her current city, Vancouver. Her own experience with overtraining and trauma put her on the trauma-informed path, and she decided to pivot and help people who need a more gentle approach to movement and fitness. As her trauma-informed path developed, her values became a strong part of her identity, leading her to realize she was in an emotionally abusive relationship. Although it wasn't her first narcissistic relationship, this was the first time she became aware of the patterns. "I choose to tell my story because I felt unseen, unheard, and unsafe for the longest time. That is no longer my truth, but it requires consistent work. I want everyone to know that if I can change the narrative, so can they/you."
