Episode 1: Silenced Agony
“I didn’t care that my feet were bleeding on the gravel road because your life was on the line. Your pale face, blue lips, cold hands, and the smell of alcohol on you was all I needed to know. I’d lost the one woman who cared for me and gave me everything. I used to be outgoing and full of life. I couldn’t believe the reality I was living in. I watched as they carried your lifeless body out on a stretcher. That moment right there was when I died along side you, mom.”
