Incomplete but competent

This work we do, guiding the careers and talents of the people on our teams towards their full potential, it is a job, yes, but it also a craft. Management is a craft.

I can say with confidence, there I things I can't do well yet, and I need to learn how.

And after 15 years doing this work, there's also a whole lot of things that I do well, but I can always learn to do them better. In this way I see myself  as an incomplete manager.
